We were honored to be served by none other than the Chef we were here to visit… Deborah Schneider at SOL Cocina. Her brand new cook book is a fantastic tribe of recipes and photos for folks just like me… who enjoy using a Slow Cooker. My “go to” for a delicious bounty of comfort food. And my good friend Phyllis Ann was able to sneak out a wonderful tip from Deborah. For her onions she mixes yellow onions, with red onions, finely minced and adds a bit of salt to marry the flavors. The perfect balance of flavors!
