I think we can all agree that THIS YEAR’S Easter is not going to look anything like last year. As we all try our best to “stay home” and limit our exposure during this pandemic, the guest list will probably just the immediate family living in your household. We will press pause on Easter Egg Hunts, baskets may not contain all the annual favorites, and religious services will probably be viewed on the TV. Easter is this Sunday, April 12, 2020! Please place your orders today so that the restaurants can plan accordingly.

Many of our local restaurants are doing special Easter Menus and many have reached out to me so I felt an obligation to help them and get the word out. A few things to keep in mind…

  • Most restaurants need to put in their food order very soon so they don’t have a lot of waste. Many are indicating a cut-off date of this Thursday, April 9th so please make your decisions sooner vs. later to help them out by pre-ordering.
  • I have listed the restaurants “by neighborhood” to hopefully help you with local purchases to support restaurants you want to see open on the other side of this mess.
  • Some restaurants will be closed on Sunday, so do ask them about picking up your order on Saturday or Sunday, and what time?

The Winery Restaurant & Wine Bar 

Celebrate Easter Sunday, the Winery Way! Chef Yvon Goetz is honoring one of the most beautiful holidays of the year with a Family-Style Easter Dinner for curbside pick-up.

-The meal begins with an Organic Mixed Greens Salad with strawberries, toasted almonds, tomatoes, blue cheese crumbles and raspberry-balsamic vinaigrette. Guests have a choice of 5-pound Whole Roasted Prime Rib with au jus & horseradish cream, or Whole Roasted Diestel Turkey Breast with gravy. The dinner includes Seasonal Vegetable Medley and Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes, as well as an Apple-Berry Cobbler and Vanilla Bean Chantilly.

-The Family-Style Easter Dinners serve 4-6 guests and are priced at $195 for the Prime Rib and $175 for the Turkey.

-Add-On’s: Guests have the option to add to the meal with dishes like Chilled Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail with black pepper vodka sauce ($16.95), Roasted Brussels Sprouts with sundried tomatoes ($10), Green Beans Almondine ($10), White Cheddar-Truffle Mac & Cheese ($10), and Potato-Butternut Squash Gratin ($10).   Guests may also purchase wines by the bottle at either location to accompany their Easter meals.

-To place your order, please call (714) 258-7600. Orders at The Winery Tustin must be placed  24 hours in advance for pick-up on Friday or Saturday between 4:00-6:00pm. Please reconfirm time when you place your order.
