Seared Scallops

Actually it will be two weeks long. Kicking off Monday, January 16 and continuing through Sunday, January 29, this program offers 14 days of exciting culinary offerings. From fast-casual hotspots, to elevated, upscale fine dining experiences. All participating restaurants will offer special, two-or three-course, prix fixe menus priced between $10 and $25 for lunch and $20 to $50 for dinner.

The web site is great and allows the reader to sort by cuisine, price point, lunch vs. dinner and so forth. Here is the link: http://www.dinenb.com/restaurant-week . The Lighthouse Café has a great three course dinner menu for $30, and Pescadou Bistro has a classically French-focused dinner offering for $40. Provenance has one of the largest menu choices for both lunch and dinner. There are 37 restaurants offering $20 or $25 lunch, and 17 at the $10 to $15 price point. For dinner, 12 of the swanky spots are offering $50 menus, 19 are at the $40 level, 16 offering $30 menus and 9 at the $20 price point. Something for everyone, right?
